LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

The basis of advertising is to get your message seen!
The Courier=Times On-line News Paper has different sections covering different subjcts of interest.

Did you know you could target your advertising to a more specific group or audience?

For instance, visitors to our WEB site that have specific interest in Sports may be more interested in seeing advertising from Sports Stores or Atheletic Clubs rather than Ads relating to flowers or Pottery. Or maybe, the Education section would be better suited for ads from, say, Educational Institutions, Book Stores or "Back -To-School" Suppliers.

With a few considerations, you could have a more direct approach to capturing the interest of your viewing audience.

For now, let's consider ad locations for placement on a single page.

Below is a mock of the Front page for the Courier=Times. The grey boxes with an alphabet a-f indicates Ad locations available for pruchase.

Please note that the locations a-e are the same on almost every page in the Courier-Times. The location "f" is unique to the front page only.

  • a - mini tower ad
  • b - mini tower ad
  • c - banner ad
  • d - mini tower ad.
  • e - mini tower.ad
  • f - horizontal rectangle ad.

    note: ad locations a and b may be combined into 1 skyScraper ad.
    ad locations d and e may be combined into 1 skyScraper ad.

Left side Mini Tower Ad
*Approx.
3.1"H x 2.5"W or
246H x 148W pixels
The Sky Scraper Ad size can be determined by adding the 2 Mini Towers vertically or 2 Tower Ads vertically, doubling the height.
Location D&E
Right side Tower Ad
*Approx.
4.02"H x 1.69"W or
290H x 122W pixels


Location f - Horrizontal Rectangle Ad
*Approx.
1.4"H x 3.11"W or
100H x 224W pixels
