Deputies with the Person County Sheriffs Department
arrested Douglas Antonio Bumphus, 31, of 2950 Charlie Long
Rd. Friday on drugs and weapons-related charges.
Bumphus was charged with felony counts of possession with
intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent
to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for the
sale and delivery of narcotics and possession of a firearm
by a felon.
Bumphus was also charged with a misdemeanor count of possession
of drug paraphernalia.
Warrants for Bumphus arrest were issued on Jan. 2.
The incident that led to his arrest reportedly took place
on Dec. 21.
Bumphus was held in custody under a $15,000 secured bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court
on Feb. 5.
Darrick Maurice Fuller, 33, of 1224 Pointer St. was arrested
by sheriffs deputies Friday on felony charges of possession
with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and sale and delivery
of cocaine.
Warrants for Fullers arrest were issued in November.
Fuller was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond. He is slated
to appear in district court on Jan. 14.
Roxboro police arrested Delisha Denice Wilson, 23, of Durham
Sunday after she was stopped at a license checkpoint on the
Hurdle Mills Road.
Wilson was charged with a felony count of larceny of a motor
vehicle and misdemeanor charges of having no operators
license and giving fictitious information to an officer.
The felony warrant for Wilsons arrest was issued Dec.
4 in Durham.
Wilson was held under a $5,500 secured bond. She is scheduled
to appear in district court on Feb. 7.
