After executing a search warrant at a Forrest Street residence and finding marijuana, Roxboro police arrested Patrick Sterling Reaves, 18, of 1724 Forrest St.

Wednesday on a felony charge of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.

Reaves’ arrest report listed two totals of marijuana found. They included 25.40 grams and 10.60 grams.

Reaves was jailed under a $5,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court on Feb. 12.

Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested Sherri Ellis Ellington, 44, of Oxford Thursday on two felony counts each of obtaining property by false pretense and uttering.

The incidents that led to Ellington’s arrest reportedly took place in May of 2007. Warrants for her arrest were issued on Tuesday.

Ellington was released from custody under a $5,000 unsecured bond, pending a Feb. 12 appearance in district court.
