Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested Antonio Marcee Stanfield, 27, of 211 Shale Circle Thursday on several drug-related charges.

Stanfield was charged with felony counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent sell and deliver marijuana and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance.

In addition, Stanfield was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stanfield was jailed under a $20,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court Tuesday.

William Joseph Helms, 23, of 1126 Lonnie Gentry Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Sunday on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Helms was reportedly found to be in possession of 3.4 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop Sunday.

Helms was released from custody under a $500 unsecured bond. He is scheduled to appear in district court on March 20.
