Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department served drug-related warrants on Antonio Marcee Stanfield, 27, of 211 Shale Circle Tuesday.

Stanfield was already in custody on other charges when the warrants were served. They included felony counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for the sale and delivery of a controlled substance. In addition, Stanfield was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The warrants were issued last October, the same month that the incidents that led to the issuance of the warrants took place.

On the new charges, Stanfield was held in custody under a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Person County Superior Court on Feb. 11.

David Arthur Yarboro, 27, of 1219 Cedar Grove Church Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on two felony charges each of breaking and entering and larceny.

Warrants for Yarboro’s arrest were issued Monday. The incidents that led to his arrest reportedly took place on Jan. 25.

Yarboro was released under a $2,500 secured bond, pending a March 4 appearance in Person County District Court.
