Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested William Tyrone Outlaw, 31, of 5781 Oxford Rd. Friday on drug-related charges.

Outlaw was arrested at O’Neil’s Quick Stop at 600 S. Morgan St. on felony charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for the sale and delivery of cocaine and trafficking in cocaine. In addition, Outlaw was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies reportedly responded to the Morgan Street business after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, deputies reportedly confiscated 46.6 grams of crack cocaine, 5.3 grams of powder cocaine, $1,316 in cash and digital scales.

Outlaw was released from custody after posting a $30,000 secured bond, pending an appearance in Person County District Court next month.
