Roxboro police arrested Brin Michelle Farr, 19, of 811 N. Main Street Friday on a host of fraud-related charges.
Farr was charged with seven felony counts of financial identity theft and one felony count of financial card theft.

Farr was jailed under a $20,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court on April 11.

Melanie Paige Dewald, 20, of 8613 Durham Rd. was arrested by Person County Sheriff’s Department deputies Saturday on warrants that were issued March 11 in Wake County.

Dewald was charged with a felony count of possession of heroin and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, larceny and having a fictitious driver’s license.

The incident that led to the issuance of the warrants reportedly took place in Wake County in December.

Dewald was released after under a $1,000 unsecured bond. She is scheduled to appear in Wake County Superior Court on April 8.
