Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested Kimberly Jackson Bowes, 39, whose address was listed as Room 215 of the Budget Inn at 1033 N. Madison Blvd. Friday on a felony county of bigamy.

Bowes was reportedly married last year in Nevada, while she was still married to a Person County man.

A warrant for her arrest was issued last Tuesday.

Bowes was held under a $5,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court on May 27.

Chad Alan Clayton, 34, of 437 Jasper Clayton Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a felony charge of possession of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of driving while license revoked.

The charges against Clayton, who was found to be in possession of two rocks of crack cocaine, stemmed from a traffic stop on N.C. 49 North.

Bowes was held on a $3,000 secured bond. He is slated to appear in district court on April 17.
