Brin Michelle Farr, 19, of 9096 Oxford Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Monday on a host of fraud-related charges.

Farr was charged with seven counts each of forgery of an instrument, uttering a forged instrument and larceny by an employee.

Farr is alleged to have stolen and cashed checks from her former employer, Solomon’s Sanitary Services, on five dates in January and one date in February.

Farr was held under a $5,000 secured bond. She is slated to appear in district court on May 6.

Roxboro police arrested Emmanuel Duvall Thomas, 21, of 223 Gentry St. Saturday on domestic violence-related charges.

Thomas was charged with a felony count of assault by strangulation and a misdemeanor count of simple physical assault.

Thomas was initially held without privilege of bond due to the fact that the charges were domestic violence-related. He is scheduled to appear in district court on April 22.
