Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested Charles Todd McFall Jr., 17, of 463 Kermit Duncan Rd. Saturday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon and underage consumption of alcohol.

McFall was reportedly taken into custody in a residence he allegedly broke into on the McGhee’s Mill Road.

McFall was jailed under a $9,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court on July 15.

Marcus Anthony McDuffie, 24, of 741 Crystal Springs Dr. in Timberlake was arrested by Roxboro police Friday following a traffic stop on Long Avenue.

McDuffie was charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance after he was allegedly found to be in possession of oxycodone pills. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of driving while impaired, possession of drug paraphernalia, having no operator’s license and having tinted windows on his vehicle.

McDuffie was released from custody after posting a $3,500 secured bond. He is slated to appear in district court on July 10.
