Edgar Dwayne Yancey, 25, of 119 Nichols Ave. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on felony charges of breaking and entering, larceny and conspiracy.
The incident that led to Yancey’s arrest reportedly took place on June 25.
Yancey was released under a $5,000 unsecured bond, pending a July 15 appearance in district court.
Roxboro police arrested Van Tyrell Burton Jr., 21, of Haw River Tuesday on an outstanding warrant from last month charging him with a felony count of larceny of a handgun.
Burton was taken into custody when he reportedly attempted to obtain a gun permit.
Burton was jailed under a $5,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in district court on July 14.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested two persons Thursday on felony charges of financial card theft and financial card fraud.
Michael Adam Riley, 25, of 1555 Glenn Fogleman Rd. and Mechelle Marie Quinn, 41, of 162 Dixon Lane are each scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 19.
The incident that led to Riley’s arrest reportedly took place on July 7. The incident that led to Quinn’s arrest reportedly took place last month.
Riley was held under a $2,000 secured bond, while Quinn was retained under a $1,500 secured bond.
