Teen arrested in connection with break-in - 11/5/07

Roxboro police arrested Eugene Woods Jr., 17, of 242 Mill Creek Rd. Friday on felony charges of breaking and entering and larceny, along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property.

Warrants for Woods’ arrest were issued Oct. 25 in Caswell County. The incidents that led to his arrest reportedly took place in Caswell County and are related to a break-in at a residence.

Woods was released under a $5,000 unsecured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Caswell County District Court on Dec. 12.

Kevin Sterling Bowes, 19, of 8269 McGhee’s Mill Rd. was arrested by deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department Friday on felony charges of breaking and entering and larceny.

Warrants for Bowes’ arrest were issued on Oct. 24. The incident that led to his arrest reportedly took place on Oct. 14.

Bowes was released after posting a $3,000 secured bond. He is slated to appear in Person County District Court on Nov. 13.

Jerry Wayne Capps II, 23, of 134 Allensville Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday on a felony charge of failure to report an accident and misdemeanor charges of hit and run/property damage, reckless driving and driving without a license.

Capps was released under a $1,500 unsecured bond, pending a Nov. 29 appearance in district court.
