Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested Nicholas L. Sanford, 21, of 160 Lisa-Cheryl Lane Friday on several drug-related charges.

Sanford was charged with felony counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, sale and delivery of cocaine and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Sanford was also charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The incidents that led to Sanford’s arrest reportedly took place on Aug. 21 and Nov. 15.

Sanford was held under a $10,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Person County District Court on Dec. 10 and Jan. 8.

Genise Lazette Austin, 40, of 1712 Forrest St. was arrested by Roxboro police Friday on eight felony counts each of forgery, uttering and obtaining property by false pretense.

Austin was also charged with one felony count each of attempted uttering and attempting to obtain property by false pretense.

Austin was released after posting a $5,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 11.

Herbert Charles Kipp, 25, of Lucky J. Lane was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday and charged with felony counts of conspiracy, breaking and entering and larceny.

Warrants for Kipp’s arrest were issued on Nov. 8.

Kipp was jailed under a $1,500 secured bond pending an upcoming hearing in district court.
