Durham man faces multiple breaking, entering
and larceny charges

Kinta Lamont Newman, 28, of Durham was arrested by Roxboro police Saturday on three felony charges each of breaking and entering and larceny from a building.

Warrants for Newman’s arrest were issued on Sept. 28. He was reportedly taken into custody in Durham County.

According to Newman’s arrest report, the charges against him are linked to break-ins on Edgewood Drive and Wall Street.

Newman was jailed under a $2,500 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 18.

Gary James Maxwell Jr., 21, of 460 Moss Creek Dr. in Timberlake was arrested by Roxboro police Saturday on felony charges of larceny and possession of stolen property.

Warrants for Maxwell’s arrest were issued on Oct. 12.

Maxwell was held under a $1,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 10.

Robert Wallace Wiley, 29, of Broad Street was arrested by Roxboro police Wednesday on felony counts of burglary by forcible entry and larceny from a building.

The charges against Wiley are linked to a break-in that took place at 419 S. Madison Blvd. According to Wiley’s arrest report, he confessed to the break-in.

Wiley was released under a $1,000 unsecured bond, pending a Jan. 8 appearance in district court.
